SEO Protégé is a signature initiative that pairs early-career alumni (Protégés) with senior leaders (Patrons) for a year-long relationship focused on growth, guidance, and connection. The result? Better prepared professionals, more inclusive networks, and powerful opportunities to give and gain.

For Patrons

As a Patron, you’ll serve as a mentor to a talented, ambitious SEO alumnus at the start of their career journey. You’ll offer guidance, share your network, and support their growth while experiencing a meaningful way to give back.

SEO Protégé is a year-long, one-on-one mentorship program that pairs early-career SEO alumni (Protégés) with experienced senior leaders (Patrons). Matched pairs meet at least four times over the year, set shared goals, and receive structure, curriculum, and ongoing support from the SEO team — creating a relationship focused on growth, guidance, and long-term impact.

Protégés must be SEO alumni with less than four years of professional experience who are ready to grow with guided support and can commit to quarterly meetings.

Patrons are senior professionals with 10+ years of experience who are passionate about mentoring, sharing their network, and investing in the next generation of leaders.

Both Protégés and Patrons commit to a 12-month relationship that includes an orientation session, a kickoff meeting, quarterly check-ins (with at least one in-person meeting), and participation in an annual community celebration. The program is designed to be meaningful and manageable alongside full-time careers.
