SEO Law Fellowship

SEO Law Fellowship is the only program of its kind to offer talented incoming law school students the opportunity to work at a top law firm during the summer before law school — giving you the chance to thrive in law school and in corporate law firms.

During this year-long Fellowship, you’ll go through SEO Law’s renowned Law Institute program, work with top legal tutors and professors, and have access to a network of 2,300+ alumni. Plus, SEO Law places you in a 10-week paid internship at a top law firm!

All students who meet the eligibility requirements are welcome to apply.

  1. Application qualifications
    • Achieve a minimum LSAT score of 154 (or GRE/GMAT equivalent).
    • Have a minimum GPA of 3.3
    • Have a U.S. work authorization for the duration of the Fellowship (work authorization can’t be obtained through the Fellowship).
    • Take the LSAT, GRE or GMAT at least once before submitting their application (latest LSAT considered: February 2026)
    • Be a working professional or graduate from a four-year college/university by May 2026.
    • Apply to an ABA-accredited law school for Fall 2026 matriculation.
  2. 2026 Fellowship application timeline
    • Application Opens: Tuesday, November 19, 2024
    • Deadline: Friday, February 28, 2025 (11:59 PM EST)
    • Interviews: Rolling invitations from January-April 2025
    • Proof of Enrollment: Monday, April 14, 2025 (11:59 PM EST)
    • Admissions Decisions: Rolling from March-April 2025
    • Program Dates: May – August 2026
      • Summer Internship: May 17, 2025– Aug 1, 2025(dates may vary slightly by firm)
      • 1L Academic Support: August 2025 – May 2026
      • Professional Support: October 2025 – August 2026
  3. Application requirements
    • SEO Law Application
      • Personal details (including name, address, email, demographic information, etc.)
      • Law school application & admission details (which can be updated throughout the Fellowship application process)
    • Supporting documentation:
      • Resume (use the SEO Template)
      • LSAC Academy Summary
      • Unofficial undergraduate/graduate transcripts
      • Personal Statement
      • One reference (to complete standard SEO evaluation form)
      • Law School Enrollment/Seat Deposit, if applicable

SEO Law Catalyst

SEO Law Catalyst is a free, year-long, virtual pre-law pipeline program providing structured guidance for aspiring law students throughout the law school admissions process. From a customized LSAT prep course to workshops to strengthen law school applications materials, plus mentoring from practicing attorneys, SEO Law Catalyst guides you through the law school application process with confidence.

  1. Application qualifications:
    • Minimum 3.2 GPA
    • Junior, Senior or Graduate*
    • Commit to (re)taking the LSAT in June 2026
    • Plan to apply to an ABA-accredited law school by the end of December 2026
    • Be available for the program’s time commitments
    • Reside in the US for the duration of the program

    *Sophomores applying to Junior Deferral Law School Programs are not eligible to apply

  2. Application timeline
    • Application Opens: Monday, September 29, 2025, 5PM ET
    • Deadline: Friday, October 31, 2025, 5PM ET
  3. Application rounds:
    • Second round: If invited, you’ll be notified by email and given five (5) days to complete a short, asynchronous video interview.
    • Semi-finalist pool: Applicants will be notified on a rolling basis if selected to join the Semi-finalist Pool. All other applicants will be released.
    • Final decision: Finalists will be selected by or before January 2025.
  4. Application requirements

    Here’s what you’ll need to submit your application. All components must be completed for your application to be considered.

    • Completion of requested personal and demographic information
    • Resume (we recommend using SEO’s Resume Template)
    • Unofficial Undergraduate and/or Graduate Transcript(s)
    • List of the top 5 law schools to which you intend to apply
    • Short statement based on prompt (300-word limit)
    • LSAT Diagnostic score

SEO Law Impact Scholarship

SEO Law awards three scholarships per year to help promising incoming law students attend the law school of their choice. The SEO Law Impact Scholarship is awarded to support promising incoming law students in pursuit of legal education. One $10,000 scholarship and two $5,000 scholarships are awarded to help cover the costs of law school, enabling students like you to focus on your studies and future careers in law.
